Global IAM Engineering - Engineer II - Military Veterans

Overview

The Global IAM Engineer II is responsible for supporting and developing IAM solutions for the following; end user provisioning, certifications, authentication management and privilege access management. This role will be expected to make daily operational decisions with guidance from leadership and other engineers. Day-to-day operations will involve Identity Access management development commonly in Java and PowerShell, Credential and Access Management product support and maintenance commonly in GUI with some PowerShell scripting. Basic understanding of API connections will be helpful in solution oriented discussions. Additional daily responsibilities will involve ticket queue and incident management, SLA adherence, providing audit artifacts, and routine on-call rotations for after-hours support.
Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

  • Conduct meetings to gather information for business requirements
  • Design and improve existing IAM processes
  • Grant and maintain data integrity for all internal and external applications
  • Provide knowledge and assistance in the handling of routine and ad hoc report requests
  • Identify and understand mission critical and compliance sensitive applications, for support or monitoring by the Global IAM team
  • Integrate enterprise applications with GMF Identity and Access Management platforms including but not limited to Active Directory, LDAP, databases
  • Implement provisioning processes for identity accounts and entitlements
  • Participate in agile ceremonies
  • Participate in code reviews, and provide feedback to peers to ensure high quality product delivery
  • Experience in migration to SaaS solutions
  • Perform system health checks, apply fixes, add alerting as needed
  • Interact with business units and ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained
  • Be available and accessible for after-hours support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Provisioning and/or Security best practices and principles is required
  • Strong understanding of provisioning configurations, workflows, integrations, RBAC and certifications
  • Knowledge in Infrastructure design and management
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and processes
  • Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, security concepts and platforms
  • Knowledge of the OSI model and security that is associated with each layer
  • Strong understanding of application layer protocols including HTTP, SSH, SSL, and DNS
  • Knowledge of IT security processes and controls as well as IT infrastructure and networking technical knowledge
Skills
  • Daily interaction with customers and leadership will require excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented with good analytical skills
  • Ability to work and make decisions both independently and in a team environment
  • Exoerience using SQL, Java and Powershell is preferred
  • Active Directory knowledge is preferred
  • PAM experience required using credential management, sessions management tools is desired
  • SailPoint IIQ and SailPoint ISC experience is required
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience within an Identity and Access Management type of role required
