Job overview and responsibilities


In the program manager role, you will be responsible for facilitating enterprise project execution and planning, initiating and scheduling meetings with various teams, crafting executive presentations, tracking key project activities and risks, facilitate meetings, analyze data, and oversee successful onboarding of contract resources. To succeed in this role you should be familiar with Agile scrum software development methodologies, have the ability to communicate program updates in writing and verbally, and have a natural analytical way of thinking/problem solving to track technical issues for resolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, manage project workflows, and ensure the successful delivery of projects related to airport operations technology.




  • Works on one or more projects both moderate to complex projects and manages projects of a limited scope


  • Define, establish & manage project plans and WBS for the program deliverables in collaboration with the technical lead and product owners


  • Act as a liaison between the technical team and various partners


  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives, dependency needs and requirements, solutions, plans, estimates and troubleshooting


  • Clearly document, communicate and maintain executive-level updates on multiple projects with succinct project goals, risks, and key accomplishments


  • Facilitate technical meetings including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews


  • Ensure that meetings are productive and that the team tracks open actions/issues/risks to resolution


  • Own and manage the project budget, forecasts and track deliverables using enterprise program management tools


  • Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize the product backlog, create and maintaining clear timelines, and strategic plans

Qualifications


Required 




  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration


  • Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies


  • 3+ years of IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training


  • Communication Skills- The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, speaks and writes clearly and understandably at the right level


  • Integrity and Trust - Involves being widely trusted, being seen as a direct, truthful individual, can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner, keeps confidences, admits mistakes, and doesn’t misrepresent him/herself for personal gain


  • Teamwork - Involves working well in a collaborative setting, supporting work team by volunteering for and completing assignments, acting as a positive team member by contributing to discussions, developing and maintaining both formal and informal relationships enterprise-wide, defines success in terms of the entire team through mentoring and knowledge transfer


  • Technical Expertise - Involves demonstrating a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area, keeping up to date on technical developments, staying informed as to industry practices, knowing how to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs


  • Ability to aggregate information using Excel (Pivots and Graphs), Smartsheets (More advanced user), Power BI (Intermediate Skills including the ability to do calculations)


  • Strong budget/financial management experience 


  • Business Case Development Experience


  • Excellent PowerPoint skills


  • Has led initiatives in a large enterprise environment


  • Experience in a regulated environment with understanding of PII, PCI, Privacy, and Cybersecurity policies


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship


  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification


  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position




Preferred




  • Master's degree


  • Certifications in agile or project management methodologies (e.g., CSM, PMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP) are a plus

  • Task Management - Delivers quality work on time, translates planning into action by following applicable established procedures or methodologies, proactively monitors and controls task status by collecting and analyzing task data to anticipate and address barriers,


  • appropriately communicates and resolves or escalates any problems that arise


  • Familiarization with modernization of legacy technology systems, Services Oriented Architecture, Cloud practices and deployment, and Technology Infrastructure terminology


  • Airline Industry Experience
