Postdoctoral Fellow for the Wilmer Eye Institute, Lions Vision Research and Rehabilitation Center - Military Veterans

General Description
The laboratory of Gislin Dagnelie, PhD, Lions Vision Research and Rehabilitation Center, Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellow position, annually renewable for up to 4 years. The fellowship will be part of an R01-funded project, "Low Vision Assessment in Virtual Reality." Under this project we will develop, in parallel, patient-reported and performance-based visual ability measures and calibrate VR-based measures against their real-world counterparts. The result will be a calibrated set of outcome measures for use in clinical trials enrolling individuals with low vision in the 20/50-20/800 range.

Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have a PhD in vision science, computer science, or a related field. Experience in use of patient-reported and performance-based outcomes, and/or VR test development in Unity is highly desirable, but not a condition.
