Enterprise Applications Analyst (2 positions) - Military Veterans

The Enterprise Applications Analyst will work as part of an innovative team with responsibility for implementing, supporting, extending, and improving Hamilton's enterprise systems. This position is focused primarily on Workday, and is responsible for providing technical expertise to ensure that Workday is configured to support Hamilton's needs at a high level. This position focuses on business processes, reporting, audits, and system enhancements across all aspects of Workday. The Enterprise Applications Analyst will develop and maintain excellent relationships with functional offices to understand strategic priorities and deliver solutions that support those objectives. This role will be a focal point for automating and improving system processes, workflows, and business reporting to maximize efficiency and improve user experiences. The Enterprise Applications Analyst shares accountability for the challenges and objectives of the college's functional areas.
This is an exempt position with a salary range of $85,000 - $105,000.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Hamilton community.
- Assist in resolving complex technical problems involving multiple application environments.
- Design, implement and maintain process for review and testing of updates to enterprise products.
- Proactively ensure that business systems meet functional needs by facilitating efforts across user groups, technical staff, and vendors.
- Ensure business application solutions promote simplification, accuracy, and higher levels of productivity for users.
- Support all functional areas by researching and resolving application problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.
- Develop and enhance working knowledge through training, independent research, and testing to stay apprised of new Workday and other enterprise product functionality.
- Stay current on current trends and best practices for Hamilton's enterprise systems portfolio. Work with functional areas to identify opportunities for improvement, help prioritize projects and implement changes.
- Manage the release and implementation of new features and upgrades, including business impacts, testing, and planning for future enhancements.
- Update and/or produce reports for functional areas.
- Apply deep analytical expertise to functional business requirements; champion awareness and adoption of Workday capabilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
