Associate Professor: $100,000 -110,000
Professor: $115,000 - $130,000
Department Chairs receive additional compensation proportional to their Chair appointment time base (60% for this position). Anticipated additional compensation: Chair (Associate Professor): $20,500 - 22,250 Chair (Professor): $23,150 - 25,750

The Department of Audiology at San Jos State University is pleased to announce a search for an associate or full professor to serve as Department Chair beginning in July 2025. The Department Chair will provide visionary leadership for the Department of Audiology and must have a substantive record of published research, teaching effectiveness, and professional achievements. The Department Chair will provide academic and administrative leadership, promote excellence in research and teaching, manage and secure resources for the Department of Audiology.
The Doctor of Audiology Program at San Jos State University provides all students in our program with a solid theoretical framework for evidence-based practices in audiology, so that they may apply their knowledge in clinical practice with skill, efficiency, and sensitivity. It is also our goal to be accessible to students from diverse backgrounds. Our on campus clinic and affiliated medical centers (e.g., Kaiser, UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital, Stanford Childrens Hospital) provide excellent opportunities for clinical and research collaboration and community engagement.
