Posting Description MEETING PLANNER/GUEST SERVICES , MIT Endicott House (MITEH) , to join MIT's conference center, with the primary focus of maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction. Will plan and coordinate all aspects of meetings; communicate information utilizing MITEH event and property management software; prepare and distribute all pertinent materials internally and externally; provide client assistance and staff direction to ensure proper execution of meetings; perform administrative and clerical tasks associated with meeting planning and provide support to senior management; attend, in-person or via zoom, a weekly banquet event order (BEO) function review meeting; staff the guest reception desk as needed; assist guests with check in and check out; provide switchboard coverage; and perform concierge services and assist guests during their stay to make the most pleasant experience. Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of administrative or event support experience; excellent communication and organizational skills; and the ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently. PREFERRED : hospitality experience; and associate degree in hospitality management or business.
