Responsibilities: An outstanding opportunity exists for a student seeking to gain marketable accounting skills and experience in the exciting area of International Finance.
Job Duties:
- Assist management in the quarterly/monthly preparation of divisional operating analytics, in accordance with GAAP policies.
- Support analysis of general ledger account
- Balance Sheet balances, including cash, investments, Other Intangibles, Other Assets/Liabilities and Intercompany accounts.
- Assist in preparation of divisional Balance Sheet Reporting templates and analytics. Prepare and record quarter/month-end journal vouchers, including foreign currency entries.
- Assist in the creation, update and review of financial templates to be used in trend and variance analysis.
- Provide accounting support in the analysis of Divisional Income Statement and Balance Sheets Reconciliation between ancillary accounting systems.
- Participate in special projects, as required.
- Accounting or Finance major preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
