Co-op Global Treaty Finance Operations - Military Veterans

Summary: Global Treaty Affiliate Operations team manage $4 billion in revenue of internal reinsurance. The Co-op will assist the team in their collaborations with various colleagues globally in 54 countries supporting the Chubb Overseas General segment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of internal reinsurance settlements, booking of affiliated reinsurance transactions, and maintaining the reconciliation of our 54 countries' subledgers across Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific regions.
- Update cash flow forecasts across various currencies for anticipated receipts/payments in support of Treasury
- Prepare and record journal entries in PeopleSoft and compile supporting documentation as required by SOX compliance
- Utilizations of COGNOS to run queries to update monthly schedules for analyses of reinsurance activity
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close by running and updating key schedules to support the team's closing deadlines
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook &Word)
- Accounting or Finance major preferred
