Associate Consultant - Facilities and Construction - Military Veterans

Summary:

In this role, you will work with Vizient teams and client stakeholders across the country in identifying initiatives for cost-savings, revenue enhancement and operational improvements. You will integrate the activities of architects, engineers, third party equipment planners and consultants involved in facilities maintenance and construction projects to create a positive financial outcome for our clients. You will conduct analyses, present your recommendations internally and externally and provide project management and data analytical support for our consulting teams.

Responsibilities:


  • Use Power BI (PBI), Tableau, Excel, Access, SQL and other tools to develop internal and external facing dashboards, reports, and other analytics.

  • Perform maintenance and development of PBI dashboards. Perform data quality audits and make necessary changes and recommendations to data and/or process.

  • Manage collection of internal feedback and recommend improvements to data analytics.

  • Review architectural specifications and prepare supplier alignments for use in validating and tracking client and Vizient contract utilization for direct and 3rd party spend for facility operations and construction initiatives.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project work plans; identify, track, and validate savings and revenue achieved through program engagement.

  • Collect, utilize, analyze, interpret, and present disparate and often fragmented data to drive an action for client performance improvement.

  • Provide support to consultants on member engagements including research, development of presentations, meeting preparation, status report preparation, issue identification and tracking/updating project budgets.

  • Manage high-volume workload with changing priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • No prior work experience required.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.

  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI preferred.

  • Experience with Access and SQL highly preferred.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time across multiple tasks working individually or as a member of a cross-functional team.

  • Willingness to travel.


Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
