Honeywells ACST team is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager for our Golden Valley, MN location.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Lead, manage and grow a team responsible for planning and executing Systems Engineering activities for advanced technology and product development.
-Facilitate collaboration with other development functions, as well as research, supply chain, manufacturing and engineering support organizations, to ensure successful execution of projects, programs and business strategy
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team and business performance and efficiency
-Support generation of proposal artifacts, including material/hours estimates and detailed technical volumes.
-Active contribution to technical milestone and deliverable achievement
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual
requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S.
Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon
successful completion of security processing.
YOU MUST HAVE:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
-8+ years of experience in Engineering
-3+ years experience leading technical teams
-Demonstrable knowledge in the application of Systems Engineering (Requirements, Concept, Architecture, Interfaces, -Implementation, Integration, Verification and Validation)
-U.S. citizenship is
required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to
obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment
is contingent upon successful completion of security processing
-Be able to travel up to 20%

-Proficiency with Cameo (SysML), DOORS, and/or other modeling tools
-Experience with tradeoff analysis and simulation
-Strong leadership and team management skills

-Innovative mindset and a passion for technology
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Multi-tasking and ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
-Self-motivation, initiative and ability to work with little guidance
-Experience developing and executing project and resource plans
-Black Belt, Lean Expert, or PMP certified

Pay Range for Roles in Specific Location:
The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $150,000-$188,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
Compensation Package Language:
This position is incentive plan eligible.
