Master Data Specialist - Quincy Compressor - Bay Minette AL - Military Veterans

This position will play a key role in ensuring that our master data is updated and accurate. You will also learn about the dynamic world of parts and service plan pricing by working alongside our parts and pricing specialist.
We expect this person to be willing to explore different views of the world, new customer paradigms, market trends and to challenge the status quo, looking for innovative solutions for an ever-changing market scenario.
Essential Duties
• Set up and maintain material/equipment master data in our global system.
• Respond to Master Data cases within 24 hours.
• Assist with master data creation for new product launches and special projects.
• Establish and manage transfer and market price increases through interaction with internal and external suppliers.
• Collaborate with our distribution center to ensure proper costing is updated monthly.
• Ensure proper coding of parts for proper result reporting.
• Actively contribute to team efforts, meetings, and discussions.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
Experience & Education
• Related industry experience, as well as data management expertise
• A bachelor's degree is desirable, in either management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization. Relevant related experience will also be considered.
Skills & Competencies Desired
• Be willing to develop yourself by learning new skills and increasing your knowledge of products, systems and the company's market and operation.
• Ability to transform substantial amounts of information into concise and understandable internal and external messages.
• Able to manipulate and extract large amounts of data in excel or other database format systems.
• Excel Competencies i.e., V-look Up, pivot tables
