Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati - Clermont is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor - Educator (non-tenure track), with an appointment starting August 15, 2025, although the start date is negotiable. This is a 9-month per year teaching position.
Essential Functions
An Assistant Professor - Educator at the University of Cincinnati - Clermont. The Department seeks candidates who will help expand and grow enrollment for the Law and Paralegal Studies Program and be responsible for program compliance with the ABA Guidelines for Approval of Paralegal Programs (ABA Guidelines). Applicants must be licensed to practice law with experience working with or as paralegals, having earned a minimum of a Juris Doctorate, possess no less than three years work experience in the legal field, and have demonstrated experience in, and strong commitment to, online teaching and mentoring at the college level. Successful candidates will readily contribute to departmental, institutional, and organizational activities.

- This faculty position includes teaching 12 credit hours per semester, two semesters per academic year.
- Subject matter includes all aspects of paralegal studies and business law, including, but not limited to legal research and writing, civil litigation, law office technology, administrative litigation, corporations and more.
Minimum Requirements
- Juris Doctorate;
- No less than three years of work experiences in the legal field;
- Have experience working with or as a paralegal;
- Demonstrated experience in , and strong commitment to, online teaching and mentoring at the college level;
- Licensed to practice law in good standing; and
- Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the greater Cincinnati area.
