General Summary
This position is responsible for managing mobile fleet related software and telematics devices for construction vehicles and equipment, as well as providing support for corporate systems information.
This is a remote position open to any location.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Order fleet telematics devices and software for construction vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with the company standards and regulations, to maintain consistent telematics data services.
- Manage and troubleshoot the fleet telematics devices and software, providing technical support and training to minimize interruptions in communicated information.
- Analyze and interpret the fleet telematics data, using various tools and methods, to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports using PowerBI dashboards to analyze fleet telematics data, highlighting key findings and recommendations to local leadership and the operations team to improve response time to significant trends.
- Collaborate with the corporate and operations teams to train, operate, and maintain the Asset Management Program (AMP) application, ensuring optimal field operations performance.
- Maintain access to field maintenance software such as Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET) and SYS WEB to support operations.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors ensuring that contracted services are meeting expectations.
- Support annual E1 equipment rate updates to streamline efforts for timely and accurate use of the E1 rates program.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in the field of fleet telematics and suggest new ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the fleet management.
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related field
- At least eight years in fleet telematics, preferably in the heavy/civil construction industry.
- Proficient in the use of fleet telematics devices and software, such as Geotab, Samsara, Verizon Connect, VisionLink, CAT Productivity, SharePoint, and JD Edwards.
- Working knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment
- Skilled in data analysis and visualization, using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player, with strong leadership skills, who can operate effectively within a matrix management environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.

Base Salary Range:
$90,256.00 - $164,971.00
Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
