Financial Data Structure and Reporting Analyst - Military Veterans

Summary:
This role will be responsible for coordination of all changes to the Financial Data Structure as Huntington completes its journey onto a new platform. This includes coordinating current and future state changes, partnering with Finance and business teams to understand impacts, training users on how to locate data in the new application. Post conversion this role will lead efforts to build out enhanced reporting to support business partners and drive efficiencies leveraging the functionality of the new application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend Project Meetings and coordinate with external consultants to manage Hierarchy changes and ensure master data lists are maintained.
- Perform testing on converted data and ensure that all activity has correctly migrated from the old platform to the new.
- Assist business partners with potential changes, evaluate alternatives to solve data gaps, and escalating changes to the appropriate level.
- Oversee general ledger hierarchy change process and ensure all data fields are captured; standards are met and assist requestors in resolving issues.
- Develop internal dashboards and reporting on the Workday platform to simplify financial reporting and analysis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA
- Experience in financial reporting ideally at a bank
- Experience in Workday Financials
- Participation in financial hierarchy management and change processes
- High attention to detail
- Familiarity with SEC, Regulatory, and/or Internal Management Reporting
