Infosys is seeking an Middleware Architect. As a Middleware Architect, you will play an important role in creating the Architecture and high-level design artifacts. You will also do technical feasibility and identify smart ways of completing client’s requirement. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore. Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in Middleware technologies.
• In depth knowledge of key Middleware services WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss
•Experience with Developing alternate technology solutions blueprint to build case for legacy technology modernization.
• Develop recommendations for operating model development to implement transformation initiatives.
• Hands on experience in Web Servers like IBM HTTP Server, Apache HTTP Server, Oracle iPlanet/Sun Java System, II • Proven knowledge of evaluating the AWS hosting consumption charges and cost optimization.
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness within key stakeholders.
• Experience in Managing delivery in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources.
• Strong facilitation skills and a clear ability to build strong relationships with business partners at all levels.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Results driven, and able to collaborate with management and colleagues to share the responsibilities for achieving an end-to-end solution for customers.
• Provide technical perspectives to other architecture functions to ensure that solutions effectively leverage infrastructure capabilities and services and integrate with them.
• Excellent initiative, organization, and customer service skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
