Atlantic Tractor, recently certified as a Great Place to Work by the Great Place to Work Institute, is looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join the Parts department at its store in Whiteford, Maryland.

Purpose:

This position is responsible for the selling of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and body placing special orders for our customers. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions.

Responsibilities:

Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.

Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.

Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.

Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.

Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly.

Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager.

Assists in maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.

Shall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Be able to work with a team or independently.

Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

Preferably one year of experience working in a parts department operations.

Experience with electronic parts catalogs preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid Driver's license.

The salary range is $18-$24 per hour depending on experience.
