Tax Accountant, CPA - Military Veterans

Client seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant, CPA, to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and planning for individuals and businesses.

This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships as well as conduct tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations. The Tax Accountant, CPA, will provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, helping them optimize their tax strategies and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

The Tax Accountant, CPA will review and analyze clients’ financial data to identify potential tax savings and opportunities as well as maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory changes. The Tax Accountant, CPA, will communicate effectively with clients regarding tax-related inquiries and issues as well as collaborating with other accounting professionals to ensure comprehensive financial support.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.

Active CPA license.
Minimum 8 or more years of experience in tax accounting.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
