Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Claims Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing work-related injury cases, ensuring smooth communication between all parties involved. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate work-related injury cases by scheduling appointments with specialists, physical therapists, and diagnostic testing for injured employees.
- Serve as the main contact between injured employees, medical professionals, employers, insurance carriers/TPAs, and other healthcare providers.
- Monitor and track all medical and diagnostic appointments in the CMS system on a daily basis.
- Collect, review, and distribute completed patient status forms from physicians within 24 hours, ensuring accuracy and completeness; follow up with providers for any missing information.
- Thoroughly document patient appointments, treatment plans, and progress in case notes as per Injury Care procedures.
- Work closely with different departments to resolve client issues and potential problems.

Qualifications:
- Background in healthcare or medical administration required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
