Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics for John Deere Reman located in Springfield, MO, you will support Electronics remanufacturing operations by developing and implementing work instructions, routings, and labor standards. In addition, you will:

• Implement preventative maintenance activities of machines, fixtures and gauges.


• Perform continuance improvement activities to address safety, quality and productivity.


• Conduct capital expenditure analysis and procure equipment.


• Implement LEAN manufacturing processes.

What Skills You Need

• 3 or more years of experience in electronics manufacturing operations


• 3 or more years of experience as manufacturing engineer in electronics manufacturing


• 3 or more years of experience implementing or trouble-shooting electronics manufacturing equipment


• 1 or more years of experience implementing capital projects

What Makes You Stand Out

• Working knowledge of database management tools, process and production management systems.


• Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, Industrial)


• Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.


• Knowledge of manufacturing process, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities. - Performs complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.


• Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related experience.
