ASE is looking for experienced Web Developers to work in support of Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and maintains websites, web applications, and application databases
- Ensures all code is properly structured, adheres to industry standards, and is compatible with various browsers and devices
- Optimizes website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes
- Integrates websites with other computer applications and develop website infrastructure
- Designs user-friendly interfaces, navigation menus, and digital layouts that ensure compatibility and usability across different browsers and devices
- Utilizes web frameworks and client-side coding to enhance user experience
- This position has potential for hybrid flexibility once integrated with team and processes
Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen with a Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one prior to start)
A.S. or B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, specializing in Web Design and Development or Software Engineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in web development, with programming languages such as: React, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL, and CSS
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, with a deep understanding of HTTP protocols, request/response cycles, and best practices for secure and efficient API development
Experience in managing web servers, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting in environments like Nginx, Apache, or cloud-based services
Solid understanding of database management systems (SQL), including schema design, query optimization, and data migration strategies as well as knowledge of Object Relational Mappers (ORM)
Proven experience in writing, updating, and maintaining efficient, testable, and well-documented code
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a penchant for teamwork

Active Secret clearance
Demonstrated project-based experience in Python, with a focus on developing backend services, automating tasks, or building data-driven applications, including hands-on work with popular frameworks like Django or Flask
Experience with Dash, Plotly, or SQLAlchemy
