Position Specific Description

This position provides communications support for the company's Thought Leadership program. The role is responsible for executing the company's internal, employee-focused executive outreach program on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all executive outreach meetings occur flawlessly. In addition, this position will support external executive opportunities, including speaking engagements and other related events.

Specific responsibilities include assisting with planning, developing briefing documents, messages, writing, using research and analytics to drive planning and messaging, following established processes, demonstrating discipline and organization in executing assignments and plans, contributing to great relationships with clients and co-workers and communicating effectively with them, using metrics to track performance and progress. Other communications activities as assigned.

Preferred skills/experience:
• Bachelor's degree in related field (Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Public Relations, Advertising, etc.
• Demonstrated discipline in project execution
• Strong writing, verbal, editing, presentation, and overall communication skills
• Strong dedication to customer service; the ability to remain flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of internal clients and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for their business
• Sound business and financial acumen
• The ability to follow critical business processes to ensure quality and timely execution of initiatives
• The ability to maintain high performance under extreme pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Job Overview

Under the guidance of a lead or a leader, employees in this role are responsible for providing excellent communication support to assigned business unit as measured by completion of required planning and execution, and client feedback. Employees in this role are responsible for using business and customer insights to support the development and implementation of communication strategies and tactics to improve customer and stakeholder perception as measured by campaign results, which may include media coverage, and brand and message awareness results. Employees in this role may be expected to provide excellent media relations support as measured by media results. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong planning capabilities, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Supports development and execution of strategic communications plans, key messages, programs and campaigns to support business objectives using research/analytics. Creates visual and written content for internal and external channels (newsletters, digital and social media, video, etc.)

  • Supports internal business partners on communications strategy and provides executive and communications support. Serves as liaison for assigned business units and serves as project manager for campaigns and cross-functional initiatives

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
