The Communication Theory and Technologies (CT&T) Research Group in the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate. The candidate will be under the supervision of CT&T Research Group Director Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal and is expected to carry out cutting-edge research on the physical layer design of wireless communication systems and explore enabling technologies for 6G and beyond wireless networks. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in electrical/electronics engineering, telecommunications or related field. Other requirements include ? Strong background in communication theory, signal processing, and wireless communications, ? Extensive experience in physical (PHY) layer algorithm design and performance analysis, ? Proven track record of publications in relevant IEEE journals and conferences, ? Strong verbal and written skills in English, ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity to pursue independent research. In addition to the above qualifications, the applicants should have prior research experience in one or more of the following research topics: ? Waveform design for emerging spectrum (FR3, MMW, sub-THz/THz) ? Extreme massive MIMO communications ? Analog, digital and hybrid beamforming architectures ? Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces ? Machine learning for wireless communications ? Hardware-constrained signal processing for wireless communications ?
