Please review the following job description:

Enterprise Payments Group (EPG) associate works on analytically oriented, payments related strategy projects for the bank. He/ She works on 2-3 distinct projects at a given time, conducts required analysis, and ultimately communicates findings in a verbal and written format.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.
1.    Frame payments related strategic questions and build approaches to solve them.
2.    Lead some projects that involves partnerships and corporate development.
3.    Write power point decks or word docs communicating the strategic process, analysis, options and recommendations. 
4.    Conduct analysis by using appropriate tools (e.g. model building, market sizing, and financial analysis).
5.    Conduct research about relevant questions by talking to applicable people in the organization, identifying and synthesizing previous work and sometimes talking to contacts externally.
6.    Communicate results of analysis and findings of research in both verbal and written format.
7.    Take a lead on 1-2 payment topics and be a champion of it for the bank.
8.    Stay on top of all payments related developments in the market; be a leader in communicating and galvanizing the bank, as needed.
9.    Build relationships with colleagues in bank’s payments businesses and manage them for EPG (e.g. Treasury Services, Card, etc.).
10.    Challenge conventional thinking and ask questions.
11.    Help the team progress the thinking in payments.

Required Qualifications:

1.    MBA, or graduate degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent education and related training and experience
2.    6-10 years of relevant experience that is analytical in nature
3.    Deep in at least one financial services area
4.    Graduate’ of strategy consulting (McKinsey/BCG/Oliver Wyman/Bain) or investment banking or sell side research training
5.    2 years’ experience in Partnerships or Corporate Development
6.    Currently in consulting, investment banking or doing similar work at an industry firm (i.e. strategy, corp dev, etc.)
7.    Led projects with analysts accountable to them
8.    Good at operating across a company interacting with managers consistently  
9.    Analytically strong, creative, smart with good work ethic
10.    Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills
11.    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
12.    High-level of adaptability; respond appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with change, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures
13.    Take high degree of personal ownership and pride 
14.    History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
