This position is a part of the Belgium ICS aircraft maintenance team and will support the F-35 maintenance operation at Luke AFB, AZ. The Maintenance Unit Supply Technician will oversee the tool room's supply and hazardous material functions to support aircraft maintenance activities.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Unit Supply Technician are diverse and include, but are not limited to, ordering, receiving, inspecting, and issuing assets. The individual will also perform routine inspections and inventories. Additionally, the individual will carry out various government supply warehouse procedures and be knowledgeable of Supply, HazMat, Training, Quality, FOD, and Security programs. They will monitor Hazardous Material (HazMat) usage, document HazMat expenditures into the Hazardous Material Management System, store and manage HazMat, and coordinate with Base HazMat Pharmacy for ordering HazMat materials. They will also provide maintainers with necessary Safety Data Sheets (SDS) of HazMat materials.
The individual must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass requirements for operating forklifts and delivery trucks to transport tools, parts, and equipment.
Responsibilities also include managing the Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) support areas such as Toolroom areas, Pre-Existing Bins (PEB), Tail Number Bins (TNB), identifying spare locations, loading assets into the Industrial Financial System (IFS) Database, and managing the issue, receipt, and shipment of spares. They will receive additional direction from the onsite maintenance manager and manage the continuity of operations plan in the event that IFS or the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) is unavailable.
The individual must possess an ability to work in a diverse/integrated work environment and be regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be able to obtain, at minimum, an Interim Secret Clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
4 years’ supply discipline experience in 5 or 7-skill level US Air Force AFSC, US Navy NEC, or US Marine MOS or equivalent commercial experience
Understanding of the supply warehouse information management systems
Knowledgeable of Hazardous Waste Management program and practices
Familiarity with government supply management and accounting system
Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass forklift operating requirements

Desired Skills:
Experience in Fifth Generation Aircraft Supply Chain Management
Working experience and/or knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS)
Involvement in Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) activities such as aircraft forms documentation and supply chain management activities
Ability to coordinate with Item Managers, Supply Service Providers, and Maintenance Logistics Support Manager on logistics issues as they arise
Knowledgeable of Supply, HazMat, Training, Quality, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), and Security programs
Familiarity with OSHA, AFOSH, NAVOSH, and state safety and health standards and regulations
Experience and understanding of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Capable of rapidly assimilating and utilizing multiple versions of asset controlling software and programs
Thorough understanding of the USAF Hazardous Material Management System
Practical knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Working knowledge of barcode readers
Forklift Certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration and to start.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
