The Home, School, and Community Coordinator, under the general supervision of the Executive Director, provides coordination or services for families, community agencies, and school providers under the Institute for Autism and Related Disorders.Â

The Coordinator will advocate to increase opportunities for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and families raising individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Coordinator will identify resources in the community and work with community agencies to integrate resources. The Coordinator will be responsible for following up on online inquiries for resources and make needed connections and referrals. This position will complete targeted and strategic outreach events to share details of The Institute for Autism and Related Disorders; such as Autism Lifeline Links, Autism Mobile Unit, Educational Services, and conferences while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with direct services agency, including regular contact and collaboration.Â

The Coordinator will support families or individuals to make informed choices about services available through the Institute for Autism and Related Disorders and Autism Lifeline Links Collaborative. The Coordinator will develop technical procedures for supporting families, individuals, community agencies, and school districts. The Coordinator will prepare and review operational and technical reports needed. Assigns and follows up with referrals in the database used to coordinate services for families and community agencies.Â
