The Opportunity:
- Unloads inbound shipments of raw materials and verifies for accuracy
- Monitor inventory and confirm General Supply Orders are complete
- Creates and affixes pallet tags to identify material
- Moves raw materials to a stock location
- Acknowledges location of materials in the system
- Optimizes stock locations on an ongoing basis
- Retrieves stock as necessary for jobs
- Scans and ships Amazon B2B UPS
- Manifests and loads recycled material on to recycle truck
- Puts overstock to designated location
- Conducts cycle counts and full inventory counts as necessary, working with respective Inventory analysts to reconcile
- Performs other job duties as assigned
- Organize and verify staging areas are stocked and materials are properly marked and flagged
- Other duties as assigned
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
- Certified to operate heavy material handling machinery (electric pallet jack, forklift, reach truck)
- Ability to read and write instructions, correspondence, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Basic mathematical skills
- Perform Daily Safety and Shift walk-throughs
- Able to use computers for finding information, entering information, writing, and sending email
- Maintain good attendance
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Great communication skills
