Job Summary:
Midstate Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking an orthopedic trauma surgeon to join their multidisciplinary team at Rapides Regional Medical Center.Qualified Candidates:
- Orthopedic trauma fellowship training required
- Ideal candidate will be comfortable with a large volume of complex trauma-operative cases including pelvis/acetabulum, periarticular fractures, upper and lower extremity.
- Board-eligible or certified
- Shared call schedule with 7 nights per month expected at Level 2 trauma center
- Elective practice allowed/encouraged at candidate’s discretion
- Orthopedic Trauma surgical block established
- 1-2 year track to partnership
- Future group owned, orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center investment

- Group practice has subspecialists in joint replacement (hip/knee/shoulder) and revision, hand, trauma, sports medicine
