Lead Consultant - US - Military Veterans

Infosys is seeking a Lead GCP & Devops consultant. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the location. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
Strong foundation in cloud computing fundamentals and GCP core services.
In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and firewalls.
Expertise in security best practices, IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell), GCP CLI, and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Provide support to service requests from Application teams, creating projects, VPCs, user administration, VMs, K8s clusters, and various relevant resources and services.
Experience in Architecting, designing, and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and more.
Experience in leading cloud migration projects, developing strategies, and executing migrations with minimal downtime and data loss.
Experience in Optimizing application performance and resource utilization through performance analysis and implementation of enhancements.
Analyze cloud usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize cloud spending.
Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices, managing access controls, and adhering to industry regulations.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible.
Implement monitoring solutions, analyze logs, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to maintain optimal performance.
Forecast resource requirements, scale infrastructure accordingly, and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to stay updated with the latest GCP features and industry trends
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Tool stack – Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Harness, ServiceNow, Grafana, Dynatrace).
Relevant GCP certifications.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
