A Gas Transmission Inspector is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Spring Valley, NY area. responsibilities:
- Experience and training in excavation, road, or utility construction
- Emphasis on gas installations, plastic pipe installation, welding, and steel pipefitting
- Oversee construction projects on Gas Transmission and/or Distribution pipelines, gate stations, regulator stations, and downgrades
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design to final closeout
- Possess managerial skills, computer literacy, and utility industry knowledge
- Inspect work by construction contractors, ensuring adherence to company specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret drawings, maps, plans, specifications, and procedures
- Maintain accurate field records including daily job reports and material usage
- Knowledgeable in OSHA requirements
- Ensure job sites are maintained safely

- Available for extended hours and weekends
