Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Safety Specialist to join our team! In this role you will lead the process safety aspects of design and construction projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare Safety Plans and procedures
Provide consultancy to the project manager on Safety aspects of the projects and development of administrative and Engineering Controls.
Report the safety performance on the project to the management and client.
Safety reporting and safety statistics
What Desired and Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of [10] years of experience in a industrial safety -related role, preferably in design or engineering.
Strong knowledge of standard practices within field of experience, safety regulations and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Registered Professional Engineer
Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
Active membership in a professional society is required.
Strong technical skills and communication
