Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Anesthesia Nurse to join our team. As an RN in OR setting you will collaborate with other members of the health care team including physicians, to deliver quality health care. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs.

 What you will do in this role:

• Assist the perioperative department, specifically the anesthesia providers


• Assist with medications and drugs for anesthesia procedures and carts


• Assist the anesthesiologist with regional blocks and preparation with anesthesia inductions

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or obtained within 90 days of hire if licensed with applicable RN Compact Licensure


• Associate Degree; BSN preferred


• 1-3 years previous perioperative experience or completion of Perioperative Nursing course preferred


• 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred


• CPAN preferred


• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• ACLS with 90 days of hire/transfer
