Hearst Global Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Client Director, based in our Paris office, to join its dynamic and rapidly evolving advertising sales department to work across a large portfolio of accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a member of a fast-paced team, working at the center of Hearst's global team as we develop state-of-the-art media solutions, spanning continents and markets. The role of the Client Director will be to grow the business in this highly strategic market, to manage and consistently communicate with our international clients, media agencies, alongside PR and creative agencies to deliver the best possible solutions for global advertising partners. Hearst is looking for an international marketing professional with a broad knowledge of media verticals in digital, social, video, print and events. Strong expertise of the digital and social ecosystems will be a plus. The candidate will also need to demonstrate an acute sense of knowledge or understanding of luxury and lifestyle marketing practices.

Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grow Hearst advertising business in digital, social, video, print and events, within your portfolio of French based accounts.
  • Promote Hearst's magazines and commercial products to a broad range of advertisers and media agencies.
  • Develop commercial strategies and business plans to grow revenue and expand Heart's client base.
  • Build elaborated and creative media solutions that meet our partners marketing objectives.
  • Sell Hearst's rich media solutions in branded content, sponsorships, social and display.
  • Optimize digital display revenue between direct and programmatic distribution channels.
  • Maintain a high level of business relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Closely collaborate with Hearst Global Solutions support teams in Milan, London and NY.
  • Report regularly on your business performance and objectives.
  • Promote overall excellence across Hearst through innovation, creativity & effectiveness.
  • Always act responsibly, within Hearst's business ethics and policies.
Essential skills & Requirements:
  • - Substantial experience working for high profile media or advertising companies
  • - Solid network of contacts within the international media industry.
  • - Broad knowledge of media verticals in digital, social, video, print and events.
  • - Strong expertise of digital and social media ecosystems.
  • - Excellent understanding of the fashion, lifestyle and beauty sectors.
  • - Consultative and strategic business approach with key advertising partners.
  • - Track record of growing revenue, gaining market share and meeting business objectives.
  • - Proven success in leading and delivering creative/complex global media solutions.
  • Demonstrate project management skills.
  • Aptitude for regular and precise business reporting.
  • Extremely strong verbal communication skills.
  • Autonomy in building sales/marketing presentations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office product Suite.
  • Fluency in English and French is a must.
