Shift: 2nd (3:30 - 11:30PM) Monday - Friday
As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled machinists and engineers to ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will be essential in meeting our production goals.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by:
- Setting up and operating machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce parts according to specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and making adjustments as necessary
- Performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Perform routine maintenance on machines
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist Level 2 or similar role
WE VALUE
Proficiency in operating machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Technical certification or diploma in machining or related field
Experience with CNC machining
Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
