A Radiologic Technologist position produces quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using all available diagnostic equipment including the surgical c-arm and portable equipment. This position will provide services at times which are regularly and conveniently available to meet the needs of the department’s customers. and perform tasks with minimal supervision and with strict adherence to quality parameters as determined by the department. Radiologic Technologists independently perform or assist the licensed independent practitioner in the completion of radiographic procedures and prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy. This position will also educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed within the department and is responsible in part for performance of the organization’s systems and processes while continuing to recognize the importance of the individual competence of staff. The Radiologic Technologist would maintain educational requirements including CPR, Ohio Licensure and ARRT registration and participate in hospital wide mandatory education. Recognize and advocate for each patient being an individual with unique healthcare needs and provide considerate, respectful care affirming the patient’s right to make decisions regarding their medical care and work with other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care for individual patients.
