We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

Under general direction, this role performs administrative and clerical tasks that support a specific workflow within a business process. This role will bring a minimum of an intermediate level skill set to the Electric Transmission Lines Construction Business Unit while providing administrative support to Electric Transmission Construction senior management.

Performs a variety of specialized clerical functions within a business process. This position will gain knowledge of department and company policies and procedures to accomplish processing of information, including but not limited to construction invoice routing, entering requisitions, entering incident reporting into DomEnO system, updating location reports, vacation rosters, and other electronic files. This position may include scheduling travel and ordering meals for meetings. The successful candidate will provide detailed verification of contractor time sheets and ensure proper approvals are submitted.

May support one or several related processes. Utilizes SAP Enterprise systems and Microsoft Office software products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to review/record, enter, store, and retrieve information. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with various administrative and professional employees within and outside the company. Identifies process improvement opportunities.

Assists in evaluating MSA Blanket Purchase Orders to ensure they are properly funded and write and/or enter requisitions in SAP for approval. This position will cross-train in the areas of on-boarding, fleet management, and organizational chart updates.

This position is a direct report to the Manager of Electric T&D Services and may provide occasional support to the Director of Electric Transmission Construction. Will perform other administrative duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

+ Level II: 2+ years of general office experience

+ Level III: 5+ years of general office experience

+ Intermediate knowledge of operation, maintenance, and technical construction applications preferred.

+ Intermediate knowledge of Master Service Agreements, Requisitions, invoice routing for approvals, and OSHA safety standards preferred.

+ Ability to follow standard business processes.

+ Ability to understand the application of engineering and construction practices associated with Purchase Orders.

+ Good oral and written communication skills, as well as good decision-making skills.

+ Intermediate Computer skills and knowledge, including an ability to properly utilize SAP, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications. Intermediate knowledge using SAP, Share Point, and ability to learn customized software applications.

+ Ability to apply technical writing skills,

+ Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Ability to work in a team environment.

+ Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

+ Ability to interact with internal and external partners.

Education Requirements

Required Degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree): High School Graduate or GED

Office Work Environment 76 -100%

Travel Up to 25%
