Critical Facility Engineer/Technician - Military Veterans

The Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Engineer is an essential member of the site operations team, tasked with maintaining the reliability of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems that support over 75MW of critical IT infrastructure. The role is predominantly focused on electrical work (80%), with mechanical tasks making up the remaining 20%. This position involves performing scheduled maintenance, conducting repairs, and responding swiftly to any emergencies, all while working closely with the CFM Chief Engineer and Facility Manager. Additionally, the CFM Engineer handles general facility upkeep, from conducting building inspections to ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

The CFM Engineer will also oversee small to mid-sized projects from concept through completion, coordinating with internal teams such as engineering, controls, logistics, and construction. Responsibilities include securing quotes, drafting procedures, and ensuring that all work meets the highest safety, security, and quality standards. As the primary contact for vendors and service providers, the CFM Engineer ensures all parties adhere to safety and environmental protocols while delivering exceptional service.

Most Engineers will work a 2-week rotation in which they will work 3x 12 hour shifts the first week and 4x 12-hour shifts during the second week. They will either work day or night shift. Some engineers will work a normal work week based on the needs of the business.

Base salary, $70K - $80K, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, an annual performance/discretionary equity or cash bonus grants ranging from 20-30% of your base salary.
