Position description Position: Junior Specialist The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Irvine is accepting applications for Junior or Assistant Specialists. This is a one year appointment, non-senate, and is renewable based on performance and availability of funding. The position is in the TRUE Lab ( https://truelab.som.uci.edu/ ) where we are developing cutting-edge imaging technologies for biomedical applications. Our research primarily focuses on the development of imaging instrumentation and image processing algorithms. Basic Qualifications: Junior Specialist requirement: Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience. Preferred Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in applied physics, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering.
