Position Summary:
The University of Illinois Retzky Chicago College of Pharmacy is recruiting for a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacy Practice with Dr. Paola Rosas' laboratory supported by NIH and AHA funding.

We focus on P21-activated kinase 1 (PAK1) regulatory activities and how these activities are governed by estrogens in the heart and the adipose tissue. We have different murine models of heart failure and we use non-invase and invasive techniques to evaluate cardiac function and metabolism.

The College of Pharmacy at UIC, with campuses in Chicago and Rockford, is the #1 college of pharmacy in the state of Illinois and the #7 college in the US ranked by US News & World Report.
