A Quality Technician is needed for an industry leader in recreational boats, marine engines, marine parts and accessories in the Brownsburg, IN area. The Quality Technician inspects and tests parts for defects, manages supplier quality issues, and supports manufacturing processes by ensuring compliance with specifications and coordinating quality-related activities with suppliers.

responsibilities:
- Inspect and test materials, products, and equipment for conformance to specifications.
- Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Analyze blueprints, data, manuals, and specifications to determine inspection procedures and tools.
- Measure product dimensions using instruments like rulers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Record inspection data, including test results and product grades.
- Mark items with acceptance or rejection status.
- Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in identifying and resolving issues.
- Monitor production operations and equipment for compliance with specifications.
- Assist with managing supplier quality issues, testing, containment, and reporting.

- Proficiency with inspection equipment and tools.

Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in manufacturing, engineering, science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in quality or manufacturing operations.
- Experience with power and hand tools, micrometers, gauges, and fixtures.
