We are looking for a Neurology Nurse Practitioner to make a lasting impact.??
- Experience in Preventive/Primary Care Medicine : Demonstrates a strong background in outpatient preventive medicine or primary care, with curiosity about disease prevention and on promoting healthy aging.
- Patient and Family Engagement : Comfortable collaborating closely with patients and families to develop and implement specialized treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
- Experience in Aging/Older Patients : Possess the vital skills, knowledge, and attitudes in the medical care of middle-aged to older adults, including managing chronic disease risk factors such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, sleep disorders, nutrition, and weight management.??
- Dedication to Education : Passionate about educating patients and families on memory health and aging, promoting awareness and understanding.?? Engages in evidence-based practice, staying current with research developments to improve patient care and outcomes, and participating in clinical research studies.
- Leadership Skills : Takes initiative in leading educational sessions and encouraging teamwork among healthcare professionals.
- Adaptability : Adjusts to the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare environment, demonstrating flexibility in approach and care strategies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduated of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required (Master of Nursing Degree).
License/Certification:
- Current, unrestricted CA RN License.
- Current, unrestricted California NP/NPF license.
- DEA License (schedule 2-5).
- National NP certification.
- ACLS.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.??
- Experience in preventive medicine, primary care, and/or disease prevention.
