Supervisor, Servers - Military Veterans

The Supervisor, Servers will lead the Server team in the configuration and operation of Infrastructure Services servers. The Supervisor, Servers leads the Servers team in working with a broad range of customers, partners, and key University stakeholders to provide best-in-class system administration services and is responsible for implementation and operations activities. This role involves leading the team in deployment, configuration, and day-to-day operations of centralized, distributed, physical, hypervisor and virtual servers to ensure stability and security. The Supervisor, Servers makes certain that critical issues are tracked, managed, and escalated appropriately and facilitates effective issue resolution in a timely manner.
The Supervisor, Servers will positively impact University of California, San Francisco's (UCSF) operations and culture by ensuring UCSF's IT infrastructure is operable, secure, efficient, and effective in service of the University's mission. The Supervisor, Servers will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across customers and stakeholders. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $225,900 (Annual Rate).
