Infosys is seeking a Senior Developer. This position's main responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency in Skills like Python, SQL, Java, ,NET or BA across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, capture accurate requirements and work closely with team members to prioritize tasks and the scope of development.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Must have Hands on development experience in any of the below skills:
- SQL
- Python
- Java
- .NET
- Business Analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to work in a diverse team/ multiple team member environment.
• Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
