Required Skills This will be a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, with commensurate expectations of publication and professional activity and visibility. Duties will involve supervising a four-semester aural skills sequence staffed by graduate assistants, including initial training and teaching model sections; teaching new aural skills courses at the advanced undergraduate and graduate levels, along with a theory pedagogy course open to graduate students in all programs at the School; and teaching other courses in the candidate's field of interest and as needed by the department (potentially including the music theory core).
