The ideal candidate is a self-driven, outgoing individual with knowledge and understanding of the Oil and Gas industry and the downstream environment.
He/she exhibits strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities along with an intense sense of perseverance.
Will not take "no" for an answer.
They easily establish trust, credibility, and respect with local clients, and effectively communicate customer needs and expectations with Strategic Account Managers and internal resources.
Has the energy and desire to respond quickly and can efficiently handle a high volume of sales calls to multiple contractors daily.
Role Expectations:
Manage and grow District (House) accounts.
Quickly respond to contractor needs and requests.
Provide outstanding levels of service and build strong relationships with customers.
Maximize contractor transactions.
Fulfill day-to-day transactional sales.
Effectively communicate with contract customers and internal (Total Safety) resources to deliver what was promised.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum (2) years' experience in an operations or sales role within the local market.
One to two (1-2) years of downstream experience with refineries and chemical plants, with knowledge and understanding of culture, roles, language, and processes.
