Post-Doctoral Position - Genome Editing - ( 240001FZ ) Postdoctoral Position in CRISPR-Based Genome Editing and Neurodegenerative Disorders A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Miroslaw Janowski at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. This 2-year project, funded by the Maryland Stem Cell Research Foundation, focuses on augmenting the function of glial progenitors and is at the intersection of CRISPR-based genome editing, stem cells, and neurodegenerative disorders. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CRISPR-based genome editing and molecular biology, demonstrated by first authorship in a peer-reviewed publication. While expertise in nucleic acid sequencing, biostatistics, cell culture, and animal handling is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The salary will be aligned with NIH and UMB pay scales.
