32Summary:
The Child Life Specialist is responsible for providing essential life experiences, family support & education to children and families in the health care system. This is a float position covering various areas of the hospital. The Child Life Specialist collaborates with healthcare providers and community members to promote growth and development to facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the healthcare experience.
Hours: Tues. - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Required Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's (or) Master's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or a closely related field.
Completion of an internship/fellowship in child life is required.
Certified Child Life Specialist (or eligible) within one year of hire.
American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS is required within 60 days of hire.
