Deputy Program Manager Navy Global Contingency Services - Secret Clearance - Military Veterans

The DPM is responsible to support the Program Manager (PM) in the development and execution of the program.  This includes both support to bids for Task Orders and the management of Task Orders once awarded. The DPM will support the plan developed in conjunction with leadership team. As a part of the leadership team the DPM works to improve performance in areas of cost, schedule and quality delivery as well as other PM delegated responsibilities. The DPM supports the daily execution of the Program, meeting customer needs, censuring contractual compliance and delivering Task Order proposals. The DPM may assist with reporting including status, risks, and other items that may impact the Program. The DPM will work to support development of SOPs, policies, practices and implementation of systems.  This position will serve as the senior manager when the PM is not available


Responsibilities

  • Management oversight and support for bid and proposal activities as well as ongoing operations.  

  • Provides the ‘big picture’ take on operations to the PM, Safety, and Quality Managers.

  • Serves as the expert for problem resolution on facilities maintenance and repair activities and services delivery operations. 

  • Leads technical and workflow analysis support to assist the Program Manager in managing the program. Stays engaged in work planning and work execution and uses this position to improve efficiencies, safe operations, and quality work execution. 

  • Manage all site activities when the PM is off site. 


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 yrs. experience in a fast paced, facilities operations and maintenance setting.
  • Thorough understanding of how to leverage a Computerized Maintenance Management System to achieve schedule requirements and operational readiness.

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

  • Ability to write thorough and analytical technical reports to assist in problem resolution.

  • Excellent interpersonal communications and briefing skills.

  • Preferred experience with the Naval Facilities Systems Engineering Command.

  • Minimum of 10-year experience with standard suite Microsoft Office programs.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Maximo applications.

 
Physical Demands & Working Environment:

  • General office environment; may occasionally be required to lift up to 30lbs
