Job Description:
Parsons is looking for Amazing talented Senior Planning Engineer to join an infrastructure project in KSA.
The Senior Planning Engineer should have experience in Industrial Parks & Factories projects, must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of Project Controls and Planning.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide leadership for planning and scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting for the entire project
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to planning & reporting staff, interface with clients, and attend regular meetings
Develop, implement, and maintain project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools and monitor compliance
Provide guidance and direction for the resolution of planning and issues as they arise
Setting up Primavera Project Management System P6 for program management across the planning team with all stakeholders
Assist in preparing the Integrated master programme for the project
Assisting in the consultants & Contractors’ selection process for Tendering and technical evaluation
Assisting in establishing/delivering formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and project
Arranging project controls workshops/meetings to discuss and assist contractors/consultants to close their project control issues
Review & challenge any claims and EOT requests
Assist in developing the document control system and communication flow for the project
Reviewing consultants & construction programmes received and analyzing them in line with the contractual requirements
Ensuring procurement, material, and submittal logs are created and maintained
Able to assess and analyze the impact(s) of design and construction changes and schedule slippages.
Coordinates execution of effective Project Risk Management across the project.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management with a minimum of 15+ years of post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects.
Good knowledge of the design process and construction methodologies
