Position Overview:
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support a high-volume practice. You will assist a team of 5 attorneys at a time of the 30 in our firm, each managing up to 50 cases. Your role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting legal documents, letters, and filing pleadings.
Docket all critical deadlines and appointments to ensure timely actions and compliance.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date.
Manage scheduling, deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate regularly with attorneys to clarify tasks and seek guidance as needed.
Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in your approach to work.

Qualifications:
High volume legal experience, preferably in civil litigation and insurance defense.
Heavy calendar management.
Strong multitasking abilities with a proactive mindset.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A willingness to learn and grow within the firm.
Strong communication skills and comfort in asking questions for clarity.
