Small Engine/ Turf Equipment Service Tech - Military Veterans

Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable of both 2 cycle and 4 cycle small engine diagnosis and repair along with small Diesel Engines.
- Able to perform diagnosis and repair of Lawn & Garden Equipment, such as Lawn Mowers, Utility Vehicles, and Compact Tractors
- Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
- Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
- Complete training as required for the development of knowledge and skills
- Ability to learn and use the computer systems for Parts Lookup and Diagnosis of machines
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Account for time and materials used in performing assigned duties
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Dependability and Efficiency is key as we have customers who need their machines back in a timely manner
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance of Lawn & Garden equipment
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- 2+ years of experience performing service repairs preferred
- Willing to work overtime and Saturdays when necessary
- Willing to perform work in the field when necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree preferred
